（1）This is my uncle’s family. This is my uncle Bob. This is my aunt Louisa and this is my cousin Jenny. My uncle is an artist. He draws many pictures. Some of his pictures are in the city’s art gallery. My aunt is a doctor. She works at a children’s hospital. She’s very kind and hardworking. She’s very pretty too. She has curly blond hair and dark blue eyes. Jenny is 10 years old. She’s a Grade 4 student. She’s good at singing, dancing and drawing.
（2）There are many beautiful buildings in downtown Toronto. Yonge Street is the longest street in the world. There are a lot of stores on this street. There is a big bookstore on one corner. Next to the bookstore is a cinema. A bank is beside the cinema. Across from the cinema you can find a library. You can see the sports stadium near Lake Ontario. The CN Tower is in front of the stadium on the left. A famous restaurant is next to the stadium on the right. If you get lost, you can go to the police station. It is near the park, next to the subway station.
（3）On Saturday mornings, I always go to my math class. On Saturday afternoons, I usually stay at home and do my homework. Sometimes I go shopping with mum. On Sunday mornings, I often do some chores, watch TV or play computer games. Sometimes I visit my grandparents. Once in a while I go to a concert or a movie with my friends. On Sunday afternoons, I always play sports. I love sports. Sometimes I play table tennis or basketball. Sometimes I go swimming. I never do homework on Sunday nights.
（4）I had a wonderful weekend. Last Friday, Ted, Tina and I talked about hobbies. Ted collects stamps. He has stamps from all over the world. He asked me to collect some Chinese stamps for him. On Saturday morning, we did chores. I cleaned the living room and did the dishes. Ted took out the garbage and washed clothes. Tina cleaned her room. After that I went to the City Gallery with Ted and Tina. We saw uncle Bob’s paintings there. On Saturday afternoon, I read some storybooks.
（5）In China, we also have a family holiday to celebrate the fall harvest. It is the Moon Festival. It is August 15the on the Chinese Lunar calendar. People unite with their families to have a big dinner, too. They eat moon cakes, enjoy the beautiful moon and talk happily. Moon cakes are round and yellow like the moon. Some people can not go back home for the Moon Festival. But they can share the same moon with their families in different places.
（6）I’m having a good time in Beijing. Beijing is a beautiful city with a lot of parks, new buildings and shopping malls. Bill’s family took me to the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Tian’anmen Square, the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and Beihai Park. The Great Wall is the longest wall in the world. Tian’anmen Square is the biggest square in the world. Bill’s family took me to eat at some famous restaurants. I had Beijing roast duck, hot pot and many kinds of stir-fried dishes. They were delicious.
